Margaret Malone's People Like You is a November 2015 Front Porch Book at The Quivering Pen, the awesome book evangelism blog run by novelist David Abrams. Abrams writes:

Sometimes the biggest surprises come from the smallest places. Margaret Malone’s debut collection of short stories, People Like You, arrived at my doorstep from Atelier26 Books, a small press in Portland, Oregon, which has a tiny catalog (less than a dozen titles). Even the book itself is small (150 pages). But boy oh boy, the stories are big—large in all the best ways.... I moved People Like You to the summit of my ever-towering To-Be-Read pile.

Catch Margaret Malone this Saturday 11/7 at Wordstock in Portland. She reads at 10:30 a.m. in the American Art Gallery of the Portland Art Museum, followed immediately by a booksigning at the Atelier26 table in the Wordstock Book Fair.
