See Harriet Scott Chessman at Litquake this Weekend!

For you Bay Area literary believers: We hope you're planning on stopping by Kepler's Books this Saturday, where Harriet Scott Chessman will read from and sign copies of The Beauty of Ordinary Things. This is your chance to get the book (signed!) exactly one month before its official release date!

Ms. Chessman will read in a fabulous Litquake lineup of authors Meg Waite Clayton, Keith Raffel, Michelle Richmond, Ellen Sussman, and Marilyn Yalom.

"The Beauty of Ordinary Things," says Ron Hansen, "is a soulful, tender, affecting novel, with complex, searching sympathetic characters...one deeply cares about... Wonderful."

Ann Packer calls the novel "radiant, mysterious, and deeply moving."

The praise goes on, but you can read it yourself here. And stop by Kepler's to understand exactly what has occasioned all the compliments.
