The Beauty of Ordinary Things pre-order campaign closed triumphantly last night at the stroke of twelve. We're exultant to report that in the course of three and a half weeks, 108 of you ordered early copies of Harriet Scott Chessman’s forthcoming novel, secured your limited-edition perks (and a few special prizes), and carried the campaign beyond the 100 percent threshold! All of which means that Atelier26 will be able to substantially increase our initial print run and strengthen our promotional reach!
We are so grateful for your phenomenal show of support, your
enthusiasm, notes of encouragement, and all-out readerly belief, and we greatly
look forward to sending each of you your literary goodies (shipping out by mid-October).
This Week’s Drawing!
For our final Literary Believers Perks Plus drawing, we’re
offering a $25 gift card to Powell’s Books, Portland Oregon’s literary
treasure house and reader’s axis mundi, and the largest independent bookstore
in the world. Gift cards are redeemable from anywhere on the globe
through Powells.com (better than
Amazon!).
Congrats, Stephen! We’ll be in touch.
Onward!
To keep apprised of what’s happening with The Beauty of Ordinary Things as the November
12th release date draws nearer – and beyond – see www.Atelier26Books.com. There you’ll
find updates on exciting news about the novel, reviews, independent bookstore
features, Q&As, and author events.
We’re building a solid lineup of Chessman appearances on
both coasts as we speak, and we hope you’ll consider attending one in your
region!
We will also continue, through the Atelier26 web store, to
accept standard pre-orders (and regular post-publication orders) of The Beauty of Ordinary Things.
Thanks again for making this campaign such a
success!
Until soon, with gratitude,
M. Allen Cunningham, Atelier26 Books, Portland, OR
